You may have heard the collective sigh of relief last month as we finally opened the doors to the new offices and community spaces on the second floor. It was over 16 months ago that we started the process, and it's been 10 months since we started construction. There are a few punch-list items that we will have corrected over the next couple of weeks, and we will also be adding a coffee/refreshments bar soon. Thanks to everyone who endured the noise and interruptions during the process. Your patience is very much appreciated! As is the patience of those that reserved and waited on the completion of their private offices for nearly a year!
We are very excited about the new community spaces that the expansion made available. The Classroom/Event Space is available to book for $75/hour and is equipped with a 100" projector and screen, a 60" whiteboard, and a built-in sound system. We have a larger PA system with wireless microphones available, as well as 40 chairs, nine 6' tables, and two 4' tables with table cloths. This area will also be used for coworking overflow when not reserved so feel free to check it out next time you come in.
The new Creative Studio is available to book for $30/hour and is equipped with acoustic treatment and a 48" table and six chairs, and we have also put together an exciting selection of creative equipment for you. There's a full podcasting rig with a multi-track audio recorder, microphones, stands, and headphones. Just bring your own SD card and create the podcast you've been talking about.
There's also a photography backdrop rack with an assortment of fabric backdrops and LED lighting with umbrellas.
And finally, there's a DSLR video camera with an external microphone to help you get those training videos going that you've been planning.
Go to the "Book a Room" page to do just that! We know everyone will enjoy the new spaces and the larger Community. Stay tuned for the announcement of a new networking event series that will help tighten this community and create opportunities for everyone who participates.
Let us know in the comments what events you'd like to see in the Classroom/Event Space!
Thanks again,
-Noah
