Toast & Jam Community Terms of Use
Our Terms of Use (TOU) may be long, but it’s important that you read it carefully to understand your rights and protections, as well as ours. It's organized into three parts: Members, Bookable Spaces, and General Terms.
Please contact us at service@tnjcommunity.com or ask an associate if you have questions regarding this TOU.
Members
Term
All memberships are month-to-month unless otherwise specified. To avoid additional charges, please notify us 30 days before the termination of your membership.
Payments and Default
All membership payments are due on the same day each month — either your membership start date or the 1st of the month.
Toast and Jam Community reserves the right to charge late fees and/or withhold services if payments are not received on time.
All mail received at this address for a member who has defaulted on dues will be returned.
Members in default will be denied access to the facility. Members may pay via credit card.
Credit card information will be retained for payment of subsequent invoices and dues.
Default and Property
Any property left in an office by a former member after their Private Office Membership has been canceled due to non-payment will be considered abandoned and is subject to liquidation.
Items will incur a $50 storage fee per day until collected. Any funds generated from the sale of this property will be applied to outstanding debt related to unpaid membership dues and storage costs.
Toast and Jam staff will notify the person associated with the canceled membership in writing and via email 14 days before any property is moved or sold.
Exclusivity
Monthly memberships are non-transferable and may not be shared by more than one person. Each member must have their own membership.
Guests
-
Each monthly member may host up to 3 non-member guests per day in the coworking area and 5 guests in a private office, unless otherwise approved in writing by management.
-
Each Punch Pass or Day Pass member may bring 1 guest at a time in the coworking area.
-
Guests may stay a maximum of 4 consecutive hours, on up to 3 days per month.
Guests are not intended to replace memberships. Anyone regularly using the space for official purposes must obtain their own membership.
Children in the Space
At Toast and Jam Community, we understand that life and work sometimes overlap, and there may be occasions when members need to briefly bring their child into the space. To maintain a productive and respectful environment for all, we ask that:
-
Children are accompanied and directly supervised by their parent or guardian at all times.
-
Visits are occasional and short-term (for example, quick drop-ins or brief meetings).
-
Children do not disrupt the work of other members (noise, running, etc.).
-
Common areas, phone booths, and coworking desks are reserved for member use only.
-
Snacks provided by Toast and Jam are intended for members and guests only.
If you anticipate needing to bring your child more regularly, please speak with the Toast and Jam team in advance, we’re happy to explore options to support your needs while keeping the space comfortable for everyone.
Self-Serve Refreshments
Refreshments (snacks, coffee, beverages) are provided as a courtesy.
No refunds will be given for unavailable refreshments.
Members and guests must avoid waste, overuse, or taking refreshments off-premises.
Violations may result in additional membership charges.
